Giving Thanks

I will give thanks to You, O Lord,
among the peoples,
and I will sing praises to You
among the nations.

For Your steadfast Love
is higher than the heavens,
and your faithfulness
reaches to the clouds.
~Psalm 108

I avoided the stereotypical Thanksgiving pictures on purpose. Thanksgiving is not about a particular menu, color scheme or even about a particular religion. Thanksgiving is about giving thanks to God.

Too right, Dymphna. Thanks for keeping our eyes on truth.

"Slavery ended in medieval Europe only because the church extended its sacraments to all slaves and then managed to impose a ban on the enslavement of Christians (and of Jews). Within the context of medieval Europe, that prohibition was effectively a rule of universal abolition. "— Rodney Stark
