Aly Raisman Expresses her Faith

This is the gold-medal-winning floor routine of Aly Raisman, American gymnast. She purposely chose the music as a tribute to the eleven members of the 1972 Israeli Olympic team kidnapped and killed by Palestinian terrorists as the world watched. Olympic officials this year, refused a moment of silence to commemorate the loss.

I love this public expression of her faith and her culture. She is not afraid to do what is right.

"Slavery ended in medieval Europe only because the church extended its sacraments to all slaves and then managed to impose a ban on the enslavement of Christians (and of Jews). Within the context of medieval Europe, that prohibition was effectively a rule of universal abolition. "— Rodney Stark
