Art and Beauty Tuesday--Guerrilla Crochet

Note:  I'm re-posting this guerrilla crochet to highlight the new comment by the artist! Enjoy!

I was amazed by this picture.  I love the idea of street art enhancing beauty and sending a message.  This one speaks to me of optimism and of sharing happiness.

I was hoping someone else would think this was as cool as I did!

Wow! I love those colors. I wonder if somebody stood there and crocheted all the way up the trunks or if they crocheted first and then joined it together. How cool!

I wondered if a bunch of people contributed.

Hihi! Thank You very much for sharing my crochet tree!

Barbara: I created all the separated circles at home and joined only on the tree.

Dymphna: No... It was only me. And my teddy bear contributed sanding away the ants! XD

Blessings,

Dymphna's favorite quotes

"Slavery ended in medieval Europe only because the church extended its sacraments to all slaves and then managed to impose a ban on the enslavement of Christians (and of Jews). Within the context of medieval Europe, that prohibition was effectively a rule of universal abolition. "— Rodney Stark
