Feathered Visitors

One more pic from the Blizzard of 2010. This rock leans up against our house and was covered with snow. When I let the dog out, I noticed that we'd been blessed with a feathered visitor! I'm sure there's a poem brewing in this pic somewhere. When it makes itself known, I will share it!

Beautiful. I put some seed in a pie pan on my porch because our feeders are covered with snow. Poor birdies. Your picture may just inspire me to write a poem as well. ; )

Our feeder has run out of seed. I'll have to see which one of us is brave enough to try to refill it. Actually, I'm not sure we can get to it now. Perhaps some on a plate is a good idea.
