Fred Astaire Friday

For a change of pace, this is a cartoon version of Fred Astaire and Ginger Rodgers in Warner Brothers' "September in the Rain." The dance itself is from "The Gay Divorcee".

i used to watch shirley temple when i was a kid:) as a matter of fact, the shirley temple is one of my favorite non alcoholic drinks:) think its grenadine, orange juice, and sprite or 7 up isn't it?

Not sure what's in a Shirley Temple. My sister used to make a mean alcohol free whiskey sour. Really good!

Hey another 7up aficionado! Waiters look at me like I'm crazy when I ask for 7up.

Dymphna's favorite quotes

"Slavery ended in medieval Europe only because the church extended its sacraments to all slaves and then managed to impose a ban on the enslavement of Christians (and of Jews). Within the context of medieval Europe, that prohibition was effectively a rule of universal abolition. "— Rodney Stark
