Putting on the Ritz

Continuing my YouTube kick today.

I discovered this vid of "Putting on the Ritz". According to the person who posted it on YouTube, it is " 'Putting on the Ritz' by Taco dubbed over the music video "Weapon of Choice" by Fatboy Slim." It fits.

Reminds me of a combination of a '40's movie and weird dreams I've had. Ok, maybe not *that* weird.

Ok, here's the same version of the same song, only this time, they've put it with a Fred Astaire vid with it. It looks like they fade in the original music at the end of the video. BTW, this second video has a link to the original video they used, as well as the song for those of you dying to research this further.

Thanks for this post. I love this song and it was fun looking at different versions of it.

Well, you can't beat Fred Astaire, that's for sure! :)

"Slavery ended in medieval Europe only because the church extended its sacraments to all slaves and then managed to impose a ban on the enslavement of Christians (and of Jews). Within the context of medieval Europe, that prohibition was effectively a rule of universal abolition. "— Rodney Stark
