Lavender Festival

I went to the Lavender Festival in nearby Fairfield today. It was fun. I wanted to buy everything I saw. I did buy some pick-your-own lavender to dry and perhaps use for my upcoming marriage blessing. I also got some lavender/mint iced tea blend which I look forward to using, perhaps on the same occasion.

Lavender is truly one of God's gifts to us!

Get out of here!!! That's so cool!! Wow...

Yeah, I've been having trouble seeing the pictures after a certain time has passed. The only "fix" I can figure is to change the pic.

"Slavery ended in medieval Europe only because the church extended its sacraments to all slaves and then managed to impose a ban on the enslavement of Christians (and of Jews). Within the context of medieval Europe, that prohibition was effectively a rule of universal abolition. "— Rodney Stark
