Cat adopts puppy

A tiny, black pug puppy in Connellsville, Pa, has been adopted by a neighboring tabby cat with three kittens. The puppy, which was the runt of its litter, is about the same size as the kittens, and is being nursed by the mother cat.

The mother cat may not know the difference between the puppy and her kittens, but that little white kitten looks like she knows something is amiss!

"Slavery ended in medieval Europe only because the church extended its sacraments to all slaves and then managed to impose a ban on the enslavement of Christians (and of Jews). Within the context of medieval Europe, that prohibition was effectively a rule of universal abolition. "— Rodney Stark
