Sunday Snippets--A Catholic Carnival

Sunday Snippets is brought to you each week by RAnn at This, That and the Other Thing.

This week's theme was Alzheimer's.  Our art was a complex painting of a nursing home resident by Ria Hills called "Marge" and our poem was from "Losing Solomon" by Sean Nevin.

I also wrote a post on this weekend's second reading from 1 Corinthians.

i've done alot of things as well in the last week. the thing i like about the end of the week, is that you get to sit back and look at what you've done, and accomplished.

my blog is changing. iam going to take it in a whole different direction. i should have done it a long time ago :) i'll keep you posted!

Dymphna's favorite quotes

"Slavery ended in medieval Europe only because the church extended its sacraments to all slaves and then managed to impose a ban on the enslavement of Christians (and of Jews). Within the context of medieval Europe, that prohibition was effectively a rule of universal abolition. "— Rodney Stark
