Book Review: Irreparable Harm

Irreparable Harm (Sasha McCandless, #1)Irreparable Harm by Melissa F. Miller
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I don't usually gravitate to legal thrillers because I don't have a background in the law. Nevertheless, I enjoyed "Irreparable Harm" by Melissa F. Miller. The Pittsburgh and suburban DC settings made me smile, as I have connections to both places.

The technological angle rang true and up-to-date.

"Slavery ended in medieval Europe only because the church extended its sacraments to all slaves and then managed to impose a ban on the enslavement of Christians (and of Jews). Within the context of medieval Europe, that prohibition was effectively a rule of universal abolition. "— Rodney Stark
