Music Monday-- Francis Lai

This song by Francis Lai is called A Man and a Woman.  It's haunting melody evokes quiet nights dancing under a bright moon.  It brings back memories of my childhood when it played on the stereo in our living room.

A great song, and a movie that wasn't the usual romance.

I haven't seen the movie, but I have found memories of this song playing on the stereo when I was growing up.

Dymphna's favorite quotes

"Slavery ended in medieval Europe only because the church extended its sacraments to all slaves and then managed to impose a ban on the enslavement of Christians (and of Jews). Within the context of medieval Europe, that prohibition was effectively a rule of universal abolition. "— Rodney Stark
