Thanks very much for posting the vid.

I never tire of telling anyone how fabulously rich Catholic prayer and devotion is for those who care to learn. It is one of the most compelling reasons (along with Mass and the Blessed Sacrament)why I am a Catholic.

And, there is always something new to examine. I started First Saturday devotional this month with a few (3) others at my Parish.
Also, my "Little Devotion to the BVM" breviary arrived yesterday along with B16 second volume of his wonderful "Life of Jesus". Wow!

"The glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard." —Is 58:8

Who can ask for more!?

The Church is surely a heavenly "treasure in earthen vessels".

Dymphna's favorite quotes

"Slavery ended in medieval Europe only because the church extended its sacraments to all slaves and then managed to impose a ban on the enslavement of Christians (and of Jews). Within the context of medieval Europe, that prohibition was effectively a rule of universal abolition. "— Rodney Stark
