Sunday Snippets--A Catholic Carnival

Sunday Snippets is brought to you each week by RAnn at a This, That and the Other Thing.

Music Monday this week featured Sir Paul McCartney's English Tea. For Art and Beauty Tuesday we watched Kazu Shimura do an ink drawing of a sparrow. I also did a post on my favorite prayers, the Rosary as Life's Journey and St. Monica and August's virtue of diligence. For Scripture Saturday we talked about the dark night of the soul and reaching for the light.

I see I forgot a poem this week. I'll post one next Wednesday.

Have a great week!

Dymphna's favorite quotes

"Slavery ended in medieval Europe only because the church extended its sacraments to all slaves and then managed to impose a ban on the enslavement of Christians (and of Jews). Within the context of medieval Europe, that prohibition was effectively a rule of universal abolition. "— Rodney Stark
