Sunday Snippets--A Catholic Carnival

Sunday Snippets is brought to you each week by RAnn at a This, That and the Other Thing. This week I highlighted an ingenious Esty shop that has a Catholic necklace charm designed after the British poster, Keep Calm and Carry On.  I also reviewed Curtis Roosevelt's book, Too Close to the Sun.  Our Music Monday was Dr. Carol Williams playing the National Anthem on organ, outdoors, with the Navy Band.  Yesterday, I posted more on Facebook Privacy and our Scripture Saturday was a beautiful musical rendition of Psalm 84.

Have a great week!

Dymphna's favorite quotes

"Slavery ended in medieval Europe only because the church extended its sacraments to all slaves and then managed to impose a ban on the enslavement of Christians (and of Jews). Within the context of medieval Europe, that prohibition was effectively a rule of universal abolition. "— Rodney Stark
