National Depression Screening Day

Tomorrow is National Depression Screening Day.  If you go to mentalhealthscreening.org, you can get information about depression and anxiety disorders, sign up for screening in your local community, and find out how to get help.

We are all at increased risk for depression and anxiety as the economy takes its toll on all of us.  Health issues, financial issues, worries about our loved ones, all add up.

Please consider educating yourself about mental illness and take advantage of the free screening available tomorrow.

You know when they make a "National Day" out of something it is finally being noticed. I'm glad this service will be offered.

Me too! I think it is especially needed right now.

"Slavery ended in medieval Europe only because the church extended its sacraments to all slaves and then managed to impose a ban on the enslavement of Christians (and of Jews). Within the context of medieval Europe, that prohibition was effectively a rule of universal abolition. "— Rodney Stark
