Saint Anthony of Padua

Saint Anthony of Padua, finder of lost things,
guide us on our journey through life. Show us
God's will when we loose our way among the
shadows of this world. Light our path when
all around us seems to be shrouded in darkness.

Help us to hear God's voice when we can not
see Him and to sense His presence when we
do not hear His voice.

Show us His way.

Remember the poem, "Footprints." And the song, "Lay Down Your Burdens." He will carry you, my friend.

Thanks so much. My mom liked "Footprints" very much after my dad died.

Dymphna's favorite quotes

"Slavery ended in medieval Europe only because the church extended its sacraments to all slaves and then managed to impose a ban on the enslavement of Christians (and of Jews). Within the context of medieval Europe, that prohibition was effectively a rule of universal abolition. "— Rodney Stark
