Offering it up

I finally have an excuse for the light blogging I've been doing. I fell backwards off my mom's porch & broke my wrist. Just got back from ER with a soft cast, an ace bandage (2 of them, actually), a sling and some Percoset. Tomorrow I go in for a CT scan and see the ortho on Wed.

Now I have stuff to offer up. St. Stanislaus Kostka is the patron saint of broken bones.

I hope you heal quickly! Will say a prayer for you.

Maybe it's something in the air because I totally hurt my finger, in a bad way, earlier today. eesh. All is good for me, though.

I shut my finger in the door at school yesterday. It's ok ... but I think Miss C.N.W. is onto something. Get well soon!

"Slavery ended in medieval Europe only because the church extended its sacraments to all slaves and then managed to impose a ban on the enslavement of Christians (and of Jews). Within the context of medieval Europe, that prohibition was effectively a rule of universal abolition. "— Rodney Stark
