My new icon corner

Thanks to my dear husband, I now have an icon corner. It took me 6 years, but I'm finally trying to arrange things here so they make sense. These icons were on another wall that had no architectural demarcation and included other, non-related pictures. It's amazing what a difference moving around some pictures makes.

"Slavery ended in medieval Europe only because the church extended its sacraments to all slaves and then managed to impose a ban on the enslavement of Christians (and of Jews). Within the context of medieval Europe, that prohibition was effectively a rule of universal abolition. "— Rodney Stark
