He was on PBS yesterday (not LIVE, obviously) talking about Jimmy Stewart, showing clips of him on his show.
I loved Carnac, his antics with the animals, and how when a joke bombed, he'd have the band play "Tea for Two" and he'd start tap dancing.
I thought his interactions with the animals was priceless.
