Sleeping With Bread

Today I am thankful for my faith. It is easy, when you are raised in a particular faith, to take it for granted. I am so happy I found my way back to the Church. I am also thankful for the Internet, where I can find information and network with other and learn about my faith.

today, iam truly truly thankful for God's infinite mercy! as always, but especially today because another family member passed away this year of a terminal illness, and its comforting to know one can lean on God's infinite mercy!

I am thankful for my faith, too. It is easy to take it for granted like you say. In the last 12 years or so, my life has changed so much because of my faith. I have not always been faithful and true, but the Lord is always faithful and true to me!

"Slavery ended in medieval Europe only because the church extended its sacraments to all slaves and then managed to impose a ban on the enslavement of Christians (and of Jews). Within the context of medieval Europe, that prohibition was effectively a rule of universal abolition. "— Rodney Stark
