Happy Father's Day

Today we remember our fathers, living and deceased.

Saint Joseph was a conscientious protector and father-figure to Our Lord, so it is fitting that we remember him also on this day.

Remember, too, we all have a Heavenly Father who loves us.

Being someone who has a Holy Card Blog I just wanted to let you know how much I love St. Joseph and Jesus with the little dog. It's a great card and your words are perfect.

"Slavery ended in medieval Europe only because the church extended its sacraments to all slaves and then managed to impose a ban on the enslavement of Christians (and of Jews). Within the context of medieval Europe, that prohibition was effectively a rule of universal abolition. "— Rodney Stark
