I have to confess that I'm quite the bookworm, and if that ever happened to me, I don't know how I would be able to bear it!

I just read books that I like over and over! ;)

Yes, but what if your mind went so blank that you couldn't even remember which are your favourite books?

Scary!

Hmmmm....well then, I'd have to go looking for them all over again! I do get most of my books from the library, so its often a bit of a hunting game anyway.

Or, here's an idea:

Do a Batman act. Take a nice notebook, write down lists of all your favourite books. (alphabetically, or by author, or subject, etc.,). On the front cover, write "My Favourite Books". Then keep it inside a glass case prominently nailed up to your study wall, and stencil over the case, "In case of memory loss, break glass."

How's that? ;D

"Slavery ended in medieval Europe only because the church extended its sacraments to all slaves and then managed to impose a ban on the enslavement of Christians (and of Jews). Within the context of medieval Europe, that prohibition was effectively a rule of universal abolition. "— Rodney Stark
