Today is Good Shepherd Sunday, the day the Church prays for vocations. The (visiting) priest, who had a "late" vocation himself, warned us of the possibility that some may have a vocation, but the "noise" of the world is getting in the way of hearing Christ's call.
In light of that, and my previous post about cleaning up your mental environment, I think it is even more important for us to find quiet times and places each day for God. Let's be good stewards of the minds that God gave us, and be extra aware of what types of mind pollution we allow in our heads.

Just wondering...How late does a vocation have to be discerned for it to be considered a late vocation?
I don't think there is one answer to that question, Innocent. Personally, I guess I would say, middle age, or later...
