I'm off to surgery

Well, I'm off to the hospital for my surgery. I would greatly appreciate any prayers you can give me.

Also, if you all would keep my aunt in your prayers. She has cancer.

Thanks everyone. See you all on the other side.

Dymphna is doing very well. Perfect prognosis, amazingly low pain level; up and walking same day as surgery....a HUGE praise report. Great Aunt (mother's twin) prob will need extended Chemo--pls pray. DH VERY supportive to Dymphna-pray for a blessing for him!

I have been meaning to ask you when you are going for your surgery. I will pray for you and also for your aunt.
There is a lovely St.Peregrine (patron saint of cancer patients) novena too.
God bless you!

Prayers assured for a successful surgery and quick recovery. And for the healing of your aunt.

"Slavery ended in medieval Europe only because the church extended its sacraments to all slaves and then managed to impose a ban on the enslavement of Christians (and of Jews). Within the context of medieval Europe, that prohibition was effectively a rule of universal abolition. "— Rodney Stark
