Please pray for all those affected by the recent flooding in the mid-Atlantic United States. Pray, especially for those who have lost their lives as a result.
And, please, if you live in an affected area, do not venture out near overflowing streams or other bodies of water. Also, do not drive through puddles unless you are sure of the depth.

Channel 4 in Pittsburg reports that
"Catholic Charities is offering assistance to flood victims in southwestern Pennsylvania. If you wish to make a donation call the Catholic Charities' Development Office at (412) 456-6969 or visit their Web site at www.ccpgh.org."
