Continued Prayers for Annie and Mike

Please continue to offer up prayers for Annie and Mike in their adoption journey. They have spent 48 hours with their new son and, just when they were all ajusting to each other, they had to wake him up and give him back to his foster mom. Knowing you have to do this does not make it easier. Annie is suffering tremendously right now and hopes to be able to pull herself together to come home to America to her oldest son.

She is truly an inspiration to many people.

Hang in there dear Annie. Good things come to those who wait. And soon, this little man will be in your arms, in YOUR home.

How true! God is watching, that's for sure!

Lifeisgreat, Annie says she is thinking that leaving her son is like leaving a child in NICU--heartbreaking, but a necessary step in bringing him home.

Hey 4hischurch,
Tell Annie that I know that feeling. And the feeling when they (in my case, the doctors) say you can bring him home, you just stand there in utter disbelief. Then you leave as a family. In my case I brought home something he had worn and just smelled it over and over. And she can place his pictures all around too! Give her a hug from me.

Wow, Lifeisgreat, That is *exactly* what Annie says she is doing. She brought home some things that had his baby scent on them and says that is comforting.
