You are the Cross of St. Benedict: This cross is
inscribed with several prayers for holiness and
peace including, -May the holy cross be my
light! May the dragon never be my guide- and -
Begone Satan! Never tempt me with your

Hi! I wish I could be Benedict's cross. We got Benedictine crosses for our World Youth Day Pilgrimage, and they are awesome (and blessed by the Pope!)Anways, I found your blog through St. Blog's Parish, and I love that bishop with incense smiley. I was wondering if I could copy it and use it on my blog, or if you could direct me to the person who made it... Pax Vobiscum!

Wow! You got a Benedictine cross blessed by the pope?! What a treasure!

For the bishop smiley go to www.bestsmileys.com, Page Index, Religious and you'll find it there. They have lots more.

HI there,

According to this site, I am St Brigid's Cross: St. Brigid is an Irish saint who hand-wove a cross, out of rushes she found by the river. She made the cross while explaining the passion of our Lord to a pagan man. Guess it fits me pretty well.

Btw, your god-daughter came up with Benedictine Cross for herself as well.

"Slavery ended in medieval Europe only because the church extended its sacraments to all slaves and then managed to impose a ban on the enslavement of Christians (and of Jews). Within the context of medieval Europe, that prohibition was effectively a rule of universal abolition. "— Rodney Stark
