Turn those clocks forward

In the U.S., don't forget to turn your clocks AHEAD one hour before bed tonight.

In winter I get up at night
And dress by yellow candlelight.
In summer, quite the other way--
I have to go to bed by day.
~Robert Louis Stevenson (1850-1894)

Did my alarm clock a few hours ahead of time in case I forget. Sunday is the only morning all week I get up at 5:30 (my first Mass is 7:30, and I leave at 6:10 since I'm 25 miles away from the church and less than half of it's highway)

Peace,
BMP

DH and I missed church 2 years in a row during college because we forgot to set the clocks forward. That's probably why I try to post about it now.

I forgot...and missed Mass.

I turned mine ahead early too. I was pleased that I didn't notice anyone not present at the early Mass today. I guess most people from my parish actually remembered!

I turned all mine ahead early on Saturday as well. Didn't want to forget. MK--we are praying for your quick recovery. Take advantage of the forced rest if you can.

"Slavery ended in medieval Europe only because the church extended its sacraments to all slaves and then managed to impose a ban on the enslavement of Christians (and of Jews). Within the context of medieval Europe, that prohibition was effectively a rule of universal abolition. "— Rodney Stark
